On Ettin's back, across a log bridge, I have seen a Boss Thorn.

I went looking for the boss thorn but couldn't find him. I finally got the skill off the Facet of Elements in the Dragon's Lair.

I am 100% sure that the first Thorn boss in Bloodstone Fen uses Earthquake & Aftershock, at least, he did a week ago...

They need to make this skill cost 25 energy, I hate being warrior in HoH, and someone ask me are you KD warrior with aftershock? When they see that it says W/Me not W/E. Aftershock really needs to cost 25 energy though

So that there can be no Aftershock Warriors? whatsoever? Why? What's your reasoning behind this? I personally don't see any problems with it. Its effectt definitely does not merit such a hefty cost.

Its not like its the end all be all of Warrior combos. People are just into them because Knockdown is quite useful, especially in the Hall itself. FoTM in a sense, I guess.

Spawns for bosses appear to be random. I found him relatively soon into the mission the second time I tried. Had both EQ and AS.

ya no need to nerf warriors

a good protection monk can survive 2 knockdown warriors or a knockdown + air spiker easily

He cant survive if the hammer warriors coordinate. even without the air ele. Once i was in PvP with my ele and i was on my arse for a whole 10 secs. Both had backbreaker i think. 2x4 sec knockdowns with them both hammering at me.

thats called team work and wheres your team mates? lol if u had a warrior with counter blow he would have been able to counter that hit and backbreaker uses 10 adren takes a couple of hits to charge up

Aftershock is definately overpowered. Take a look at any other Elementalist skill (except chain lightning, which is also overpowered).

For example earthquake, which does the same amount of damage as aftershock, except it knocks down the enemies instead of dealing more damage if they are knocked down. This skill should have about the same cost as aftershock, right? Wrong, it costs 25 mana, takes 3 seconds to cast and has a longer recharge time then aftershock too.

How about stoning? It deals a little less damage to a SINGLE target then aftershock does to EVERY foe, yet costs MORE mana, and takes longer to cast!

Last one: Crystal Wave. This spell deals about the same amount of damage to every foe as aftershock, but cures every foe of any negative conditions. Mana cost? more then aftershock. Recharge time? longer then aftershock.

PbAoE spells and Ranged spells are entirely different classes of spells altogether, and knockdown effects are something entirely different from damage. Knockdown is a form of control, causing interruption on any action the target is performing, including movement.

As far as changing the skill speed, if you made it any slower, you wouldnt be able to hit what you knocked down!

yeah only way aftershock deals huge damage is if there knocked down no knockdown is really cheap and easy to get. So aftershock does not need a nerf

Aftershock isn't overpowered. First of all, you have to knockdown an opponent. Most knockdown skills are costly. Secondly elementarist has to get close to the enemy to actually deal damage. you will probably dead when you reach the foe. Oo
